CROPPED TROUSERS AND GARGOYLE SHOES: WHY I CAN’T GET ON WITH TRENDS

Hey there! Today, I want to talk about a topic that’s been on my mind lately: trends.Specifically, I want to discuss my struggles with two particular trends – cropped trousers and gargoyle shoes. Now, I know these might be all the rage for some, but for me, they just don’t seem to click. Let me explain why.

First up, cropped trousers. I’ve tried them on, I’ve seen them on others, but I just can’t seem to make them work for me. Maybe it’s the fact that I prefer a more classic, timeless look when it comes to my pants. I like something that covers my entire leg, gives me a bit more length, and makes me feel confident. Cropped trousers, on the other hand, always seem to make me feel a bit exposed, like I’m showing off too much leg. And let’s be real, not everyone is comfortable with that.

Plus, I find them to be a bit impractical. When it comes to choosing an outfit, I want something that I can move around in comfortably, without constantly worrying about whether my pants are riding up or showing too much skin. Cropped trousers just don’t offer that kind of freedom. They seem to be more about making a fashion statement than being functional, and for me, that’s a deal-breaker.

Now, onto gargoyle shoes. These are the kind of shoes that look like they came straight out of a gothic nightmare. With their pointy toes, unky designs, and often high heels, they just aren’t my style. I appreciate fashion that is both unique and wearable, but gargoyle shoes seem to lean more towards the “outlandish” side. I prefer something a bit more understated and classic, something that can be paired with a variety of outfits.

I also have to consider the comfort factor. I’m all about looking good and feeling good at the same time, and gargoyle shoes just don’t seem to offer that. With their often-unusual shapes and high heels, they can be a bit uncomfortable to walk in, not to mention a potential hazard on uneven surfaces. For me, fashion should enhance my life, not make it more difficult.

That’s not to say that I don’t appreciate trends or that I’m not open to trying new things. I think it’s important to stay current and have an open mind when it comes to fashion. But at the same time, I also believe in staying true to my own personal style. I know what looks and feels good on me, and I’m not going to sacrifice that just to follow the latest trend.

So, while cropped trousers and gargoyle shoes might be having their moment in the fashion spotlight, I’ll be sitting this one out. I’ll stick to the styles that make me feel confident, comfortable, and true to myself. Because at the end of the day, that’s what fashion is really all about – expressing your unique personality and style.

What about you? Are there any trends that you just can’t get on board with? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. Let’s have a conversation about fashion and what makes us feel our best!

Remember, fashion is subjective, and there’s no right or wrong way to express yourself. Embrace your own unique style and wear what makes you happy!
